TripleTen's AI programs: what the public record shows

TripleTen is one of the most-advertised online bootcamps of 2025–26, and now sells several AI-branded tracks (AI Automation; AI & Machine Learning; AI Software Engineering; AI Systems Engineering). Search behavior around the brand is doubt-shaped — “is tripleten legit” autocompletes into ten doubt variants. Here is what the school claims, and what we could and could not verify on 2026-08-15.

CLAIMS

What TripleTen's outcomes page says (quoted, 2026-08-15)

  • 88% still in their roles after one year”
  • $68,300 grads' median salary in their first roles*”
  • $16,300 average salary increase*”
  • “80% of students had no previous tech experience.”
  • Money-back job guarantee: complete their job-search roadmap and “don't land a role within 10 months, you get 100% of your tuition back.”

RECORD

What we could verify against independent records

CheckResult (2026-08-15)
Named independent auditor for the outcome figures, in the page's readable textNone found. The page offers a downloadable PDF report; no auditor is named in the static page text, and the asterisked figures carry no visible methodology note there.
Sample sizes / denominators for the 88% and $68,300 figures, in the page's readable textNot stated in the static page text we could read.
CIRR — the bootcamp industry's audited-outcomes body — current reportsTripleTen does not appear on CIRR's data page (cirr.org/data, fetched 2026-08-15). Only a handful of schools currently file audited CIRR reports at all.
California BPPE annual-report filings (the strongest state disclosure regime)No TripleTen documents found searching the BPPE site 2026-08-15. The honest limit: TripleTen operates online (Wyoming-registered per its BBB profile) and may have no CA filing obligation — absence of a filing is not a violation; it means this check cannot be run.
The school's own statement on its new tracksTripleTen's own FAQ on the same page: “Why is there no data on the Cybersecurity, UX/UI Design, and AI Automation programs? These new tracks … were launched” recently. Their newest AI-branded programs have no outcome data, by their own statement.

The honest bottom line: nothing above shows TripleTen's numbers are false. It shows they are self-reported and, as far as we could verify today, unaudited — and that the AI-branded tracks specifically are too new to have outcome data, per TripleTen's own FAQ. A buyer putting four-to-five figures down is entitled to ask for: the methodology behind the 88% and $68,300 figures (numerator, denominator, response rate), the money-back guarantee's full terms in writing, and per-program — not blended — outcomes. For contrast, see what a state-filed outcomes record looks like.

Method note: our fetches read pages as served to a standard browser agent without executing scripts; figures inside scripts or PDFs may exist that we could not read. That limit is stated rather than papered over. Corrections channel opens at launch.
