Retraining ROI report: what the listed programs cost, and what they produced

$39, one-time, for one target occupation and one state. The free funding finder shows a state's WIOA training list by occupation family. This report narrows it to the job you actually want: every listed program that trains for it, the outcomes its provider reported to the U.S. Department of Labor, ranked — and, if you tell us your current pay, a payback estimate per program. Read a complete sample free before spending anything.

What's inside

What it will not do: Your local job center decides eligibility — this shows what is on the list and what it cost and produced, not whether you will be approved. Earnings are one quarter for one past cohort, not a forecast for you; the payback column is arithmetic on that median and your own figure. Where the federal file is suppressed, the report prints a dash and says why.

Coverage — read this before buying

The report is built from the Department of Labor's Training Provider Results index — 70,088 programs across every state as of the snapshot dated in the report; the site states the data reflect programs approved as of June 30, 2025 and outcomes for July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2025. Coverage varies by state and occupation: some states list thousands of programs, a few list almost none, and many programs carry suppressed cells. If no program on your state's list reports your occupation, the report says so and shows the nearest occupation group instead — it never invents a row. The sample shows exactly what you would get.

Why $39?

Comparable pay-per-report products over public data (demographics, site reports) sell at $59–149 and carry no outcomes at all. This one carries the outcomes and costs the providers reported to the federal government, matched to one occupation and ranked, with a payback estimate the comparables do not attempt. It is priced under them because it is built by software from public data and we say so.

Have the $29 report or Directions already?

Different question, different document. The report tells you where your current occupation stands and prices the routes out; Directions sequences the next 90 days; the ROI report tells you which of the listed programs for your target job produced what, and whether the arithmetic works at your pay. Buy them in any order.

What $39 is not

Not coaching, not a placement service, not a subscription, not a promise of funding. One document, generated by our software from the public record, that you could assemble yourself from trainingproviderresults.gov with a long evening and a spreadsheet.
